I have no idea who this man is, I came here from a short about a person learning to surf. I see this fellow come roaring in on his knees to perfectly come beside this person and allow them to feel the moment for themselves. Now I am watch and listing to him tell his story and for some reason I am overcome with emotions. This man is a true legend! God Bless him.

Im no doctor but i do know humans two distinct advantages that no other land animal has. 1) we can pick up heavy stuff and carry it across great distances. 2) we can run/jog further than any other land animal without stopping. Ben your great example of the second. I think my best time was around 7 hours. Im no endurance runner but ill carry 60 pounds over this traverse without breaking much of a sweat... even in january...

Its amazing to me how its easy for people to explore highland. Easier and more popular than space and oceans races! Everything is an ego race ,but more useful for humans are space and oceans !

Thank you for the video, it shows the essence what swimrun is! We love this new sport, so grateful for the idea! Started training May last year and discovered tons of wonderful routes, including some incredible beaches on Costa Brava, Spain. We participated in a race already which helped us realize where we need to improve: my swimming technique definitely needs to be better, and also tend to loose sense of direction in the water, which results in swimming more and getting more tired. We created our own swimrun channel, where we will publish our adventures, training and discoveries. Check it out 😊

Lagit bro. I surf alone mostly and I live in central cal. Always seeking the non crowd ed spots. They are there. I'm seeking people to surf with me but most of them just want to be seen or filmed or noticed some way or another for attention. I can care less. I was born to be a soul surfer.

I have an irrational fear that the FIRST instant I get into water deeper than I can stand to surf. I will get eaten by a Great White. Can't even close my eyes in the shower while turning the water to cold, or I picture it.
